What are Skinboosters?
There are many different types of skinboosters available in the market. They generally contain hyaluronic acid and may be combined with other nutrients such as amino acids, glutathione etc. It can be delivered into our skin via microinjections, microneedling or other delivery methods such as electroporation.
What exactly is Rejuran?
Rejuran is an injectable skin booster made from a special ingredient called PDRN (Polydeoxyribonucleotide)—which is derived from salmon DNA.
That might sound unusual, but it’s used because:

What is the procedure like? Is it painful?
First, numbing cream is applied for about 30-45 minutes. After cleansing off the numbing cream, small amounts of Rejuran are injected all over into the treatment area, creating little bumps that will resolve with time. With numbing cream, it is well tolerated by most people.
Is there downtime?
Generally, the small bumps on the face will subside within a few hours to a few days. With every session done, you will notice that the bumps subside more quickly.
Small risks include bleeding, bruising and rarely, infection.
Some people, especially those who have sensitive skin or are more prone to acne, may experience a few pimples after the treatment but this should generally resolve in a week.
Bruising, if any, will also completely subside within 3-7 days.
