Niks Professional
Niks Professional is an integrated medical skin care provider, incorporating family practice dermatology and aesthetic medical services, skin care products, facial treatment and medical camouflage service under one roof and a single NIKS brand.
We own and operate three medical clinics in Singapore focusing on family practice dermatology and aesthetic medicine. Our clinical services are complemented by a portfolio of more than 100 quality medical skin care products. Our products are conceptualised and developed in Singapore and made in the finest factories in the United States and Europe.
We brand our products and services under one unified, consistent NIKS brand. All our products satisfy stringent regulatory requirements in the United States and Europe, and are regularly updated to reflect advances in skin care technology. We are also active in paramedical camouflage cosmetics.

Board of Directors
Mr Cheng Shoong Tat
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
A co-founder, Mr Cheng has been a director of our company since 1998 and Managing Director since 2005. He has also been Executive Director of our China subsidiary, Niks Professional (Shanghai) Co Ltd, since 2008.
Prior to his appointment with our Group, he was, among others, Chief Financial Officer of SPH Mediaworks Ltd, Senior Vice President of Pontiac Land Pte Ltd and General Manager (Planning and Finance) with China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park Development Co Ltd, the developer of the Suzhou Industrial Park in Suzhou, China.
Mr Cheng holds a Bachelor of Arts (Mathematics) from Trinity College, University of Cambridge, a Master of Business Administration from the London Business School, University of London, and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of London. He was awarded the President’s Scholarship by the Singapore government in 1979.
Mr Mark Yeo
Deputy Chairman and Lead Independent Director
Mr Mark Andrew Yeo Kah Chong is the Lead Independent Director and Deputy Chairman of our Company and was appointed to our Board in 2023. He also chairs our Board’s Audit and Risk Committee. He is currently the non-executive Chairman of IREIT Global Group Pte. Ltd., which is the trustee manager of IREIT Global. Mr Yeo is also a non-executive director in Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., as well as Keppel Infrastructure Fund Management Pte Ltd, the trustee-manager of Keppel Infrastructure Trust. Both IREIT Global and Keppel Infrastructure Trust are listed on the Mainboard of SGX.
Prior to his appointment with our Group, Mr Yeo worked in several banks advising on project finance in infrastructure. Thereafter he has had several senior executive appointments in Hong Kong and Dubai.
Mr Yeo graduated from the University of Oxford with a Master of Arts and subsequently obtained his Master of Laws from the National University of Singapore. He has also completed INSEAD’s Advanced Management Programme and obtained an Executive Diploma in Directorship from the Singapore Management University and the Singapore Institute of Directors. Mr Yeo is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
Dr Ong Fung Chin​
President and Chief Medical Officer
A co-founder, Dr Ong has been our Executive Director since 2003. She has been practising medicine for nearly four decades, starting with public hospitals and private medical clinic groups and opened her own Maple Clinic in 1994. By focusing on family practice dermatology, aesthetic medical services and medical skin care products, she grew her medical practice over the years and laid the foundation for our Group today.
Dr Ong graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. She subsequently studied in the St John’s Institute of Dermatology in the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals (now part of King’s College, London) and obtained a Diploma in Dermatology. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health from the National University of Singapore.
Mr Manu Bhaskaran
Independent Director
Mr Manu Bhaskaran is an Independent Director of our Company and was appointed to our Board in 2023. He also chairs our Board’s Nominating and Remuneration Committee. Mr Bhaskaran is currently a Director of Centennial Group Holdings LLC, as well as the Chief Executive Officer and Founding Director of Centennial Asia Advisors Pte. Ltd. He currently serves as an independent director on the board of directors of Japfa Ltd., a company listed on the Mainboard of the SGX-ST, as well as non-executive directorship roles in CIMB Investment Bank Berhad and Luminor Capital Pte. Ltd.. Mr Bhaskaran is also an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies, National University of Singapore.
Prior to his appointment with our Group, Mr Bhaskaran was an Independent Director at IFS Capital Limited, a company listed on the Mainboard of the SGX-ST, from February 2004 to May 2020, and Jebsen & Jessen Pte. Ltd. from January 2014 to July 2020. Mr Bhaskaran was Managing Director / Chief Economist of Société Générale Securities from April 1989 to October 2001, where he supervised Asian economic and investment strategy. From May 1982 to April 1989, he worked in the Singapore Civil Service, supervising a team that prepared strategic political and economic assessments of Asia for senior Singapore government officials.
Mr Bhaskaran graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in 1980 and was conferred with a Master of Arts (also known as MA (Cantab)) from the University of Cambridge in 1984. Mr Bhaskaran also obtained a Master in Public Administration from Harvard University in 1987. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Mr Tan Teck Huat
Independent Director
Mr Tan Teck Huat is an Independent Director of our Company and was appointed to our Board in 2023. He is presently a non-executive director and Chairman of the Risk and Audit Committee of the Home Affairs Uniformed Services Invest Fund.
Mr Tan was Chief Finance Officer at GuocoLand Limited from October 2008 to February 2015, Director of Finance at JTrust Asia Pte. Ltd. from March 2015 to December 2016 and Director of Finance at QAF Limited from January 2017 to April 2021. Mr Tan was also a former board member of Central Provident Fund Board as well as the Chairman of its Audit Committee from August 2014 to June 2020.
Mr Tan graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Bachelor of Arts in 1983. He was conferred the Pingat Bakti Masyarakat (The Public Service Medal) in 2019 for work done with the INVEST Board of Trustees.
